I heard that there is a new communication
Marshall that is supposed to read all incoming and out going e-mails.
The new hire is supposed to be a Paul Beal from the Executive Department.
It seems that someone wasn't listening or hearing what is really going on.
I asked the executive department on the truth of the communication Marshal. This is a security program for the tribe initiated by constituents that send foul language e-mails to the tribe, however, this security marshal is used to control viruses, etc.
It is always interesting how these rumors get started and you can thank a member of the Minerals Council and OSA for generating falsehoods while presenting bad listening habits.
Propaganda
I can no longer ignore those in Congress that continue to write and send out their personal views and actions that are offensive to the Osage people, at large, without following up on the truth vs. lies.
Those of you that have read my posts in the Osage Nation web will see I continue to voice my objections of those proposed laws that are in conflict of the peoples Constitution and attend as many of the Congress Committee meetings as possible.
Unfortunately, we have some members of Congress that have their own personal
agendas
das that are destructive instead of constructive.
Propaganda:
There is
no six vs. six split in voting. There is no Peoples 6 or Executive 6.
All committee meetings and the in session meetings I have never seen this (6) voting split.
People - it does not exist!
Kugee
Supernaw
must have woken up one morning having had a nocturnal seminal emission and convinced himself this was true.
This is only the latest problem we have with Kugee and his cohorts.
The opposition is:
Kugee
Supernaw,
Mark
Simms,
Anthony
Shackelford,
Jeri
Jean
Bransteter,
Faren
Anderson, and sometimes
Doug
Revard.
Those that consider the Constitution and the best for our people and the Osage Nation is:
Shannon
Edwards,
Mark
Freeman,
Debbi
Littleton, Raymond Red Corn and Eddy Red Eagle, and sometimes,
Archie
Mason.
My opinion:
Assistant Principle Chief
John
Red
Eagle votes from his heart and considers the pros and cons to vote in a tie. This position is very difficult for the Assistant Principal Chief – do to the fact that his brother Eddy Red Eagle is one of the Congress members and those objections come from the opposition group that has a propensity to rule the roost (executive branch) instead of writing legislation that they were voted to do.
I have constantly reminded them that they are the Congress and not the Executive branch, and they were elected by promises to make laws and not interfere in the daily workings of the tribe.
They continue to vie for running the Executive department when they should be doing what they were elected to do.
I am only one constituent that attends many meetings and there are others that attend meetings on occasion and some do not stay for the whole meeting.
I have found that some of the men in Congress do not like it when a female makes suggestions or reminds them of to the Constitution they MUST follow.
When some do write a proposal for a new law, they do not re-read or to make sure that the proposed laws will not conflict with the Constitution. All you need to do is; read the laws already written or proposed and you will see for yourselves those Congress members write in direct conflict with other laws and the Constitution.
When I question this, I was told that the State has many laws that are in conflict with each other and they don’t go back and review them.
Opinion: sloppy work!
My comment: The
Oklahoma government has been making laws for 100 years; the Osages new government is being re-established now and we don’t want to make the same mistakes as the state, besides we have the ability to be so much better than the state with the right Congress members.
