This website was formed by individual Osage people who are solely interested in helping all Osage people, whether they are headright owners or not, to stay informed and involved in the current administration and their direction of taking the tribe to a new form of government. This includes membership and the ability to vote for all Osages and obtaining the inherent right from the Federal Government to be self governed, which includes creating a fair constitution and determining membership.

This website is also dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of free speech and an exchange of ideas from all Osages. We want to make sure the new government is modern and splits up the power in government which is currently, solely vested in the tribal council. Laws regarding ethics and recall opportunities would be available to Osages for the first time in over 100 years under a new government. But, in order to see a real government emerge, all Osages much be informed and involved.

Hello from the osageforum, it has been a long time I know. I am still in the process in changing my site to include the new government and I would like your help in getting me started. I am keeping all your concerns private and will not use or give out any names, e-mails or personal information I may have. Your letters, questions and comments will continue to be safe.

I am attending some meetings, when I know about them and will continue to give you information, opinions, comments, questions. This site will change only a little to suit the new Government.

I have already posted on the Osage Nation website, you may want to check it.

Don't give up on me I am here for all of you whether you live here or out of the area, state or country.
Sandra Akins, I sign all my correspondence with my name.
